Flaine has the usual hands-free ski pass functioning with a key card, for which there is a non-refundable deposit of 3 Euros. There are lift pass offices at both main lift stations (Grands Platières and Aup de Véran) as well as at the base of the Combe de Vernant and Grands Vans chairlifts.
Those looking to ski only in the local area can choose the 1-day Flaine ticket, which only covers the lifts in the immediate Flaine area:
